Pastor's Message

Dear Friends in Christ Jesus,

Grace, peace and love from Him with Whom we all have to do.  Greetings!

I warmly welcome you to a preview of Nagaland Baptist College.  We are situated at the address shown at the top of the page and are a government registered Bible college.

Christian life is an adventurous experience, and as we travel this pilgrim journey there is much to be done, especially for our young people.  Our college exists solely for the Glory of God and the endurance of His truth.  We "earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered unto the saints."

Our Bible college is based on the fundamentals of the Bible and will be a special place for our students who have just graduated from high school.  Students who have been called to serve the Lord Jesus Christ will be taught the theology necessary to prepare them for the great task of our Lord Jesus Christ - "Go into all the world, preach the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.."  The Church of Jesus Christ needs effectual ministers of the Gospel that will arise from the new generation of youth.  We will train them to have solid Christian convictions and identity so that they may be "workmen and women approved unto God" capable of "rightly dividing the Word of truth."

Nagaland Baptist College and its curriculum is designed to meet the needs of such students who are called by the Lord.  It is a Bible-believing and Bible-preaching college.  Our aims and objectives are to produce strong Christian men and women, especially for the North-East area, who will establish strong, godly families and to be soul winners and church (people) builders.  We have resolved to develop each student who passes through our hands to be spiritually mature.  Theology will be the foundation of our Christian education.  Most students upon their arrival are both spiritually and physically poor, underprivileged, and unknowledgeble of the Word of God.  We want our students to live godly, faithful lives.     

We are committed to academic and spiritual stengths giving equal attention to all our students for the common purpose of preparing our students for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Nagaland Baptist College wants to stretch its mission among people here for the sake of Christ's love and to reach out to the orphaned, disabled, and oppressed people of our area.  Our ministries are slowly spreading and reaching very many rural and unreached areas through our student body.  We are blessed to know that one day they will carry on the work of Christ among their own tribes in their own languages in their own villages, towns, and ethnic communities.  Every man God's Word in his own langauage!  We endeavor to preserve the seven strengths of the Nagas (Honesty, Sincerity, Truthfulness, Self-reliance, Hard work, Fearlessness, and Courage) through sound Biblical teaching and principles.  These strengths are slowly eroding away due to error, socio-political, and economic problems.  The Church has also been sleeping and complacent here and needs revival.  Our prayer is that we may be fit instruments in bringing revival and renewal through Biblical theology and practice.  We are at this time a small ministry in Dimapur, but we believe it is God's will and God's truth for us to become a positive force for change.  We must unite our efforts to eradicate all social evils and render voluntary services to both Christian and non-Christians.  Remember that Christ died for all mankind.  We personally believe it is God's will that we do this and we appreciate your prayers and faith in our ministry.

Nagaland Baptist College is affliated with Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida, in the United States of America.  We have set ourselves the goal of training to serve, with special emphasis on soul winning evangelism and teaching.  We desire that our graduates will maintain their Christian testimony and will be "steadfast, unmoving and always abounding in the work of the Lord."

Nagaland Baptist College has a faculty that is united in common purpose and goals.  Each of our faculty are equipped to teach and train students with the gifts of encouragement, preaching, administration, leading, motivation and sacrifice.  We have full faith in our staff to accomplish our aims and objectives.

As a student seeking to join Nagaland Baptist College, I am sure that you will be trained  both spiritually and practically.  I am absoutely convinced that you will be prepared in your ministry to the people of the North-East area.  Upon graduation from Nagaland Baptist College you will be enabled to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
